Ordering

by Internet

You can place an order by Internet using our easy to use secure Paypal ordering facility, which will enable you to pay with any of the major credit and debit cards or your own Paypal account.

If you see something on our website that may be of interest simply click ADD TO CART.  You can remove items later if you wish; using the shopping cart in this way will enable you to keep a track of all the items that interest you.

When you have finished making your initial quick selection you can view the shopping cart, remove anything you don't want and proceed to CHECKOUT.

We also accept orders by cheque & post. Simply print out your order from the same secure online ordering page and send us the print-out, together with a cheque for the total amount excluding any delivery cost that may be applicable.  On receipt of your order and payment we will contact you by phone or email, as you prefer, and confirm your order.

Collection & Delivery                                                                          

In order to ensure the price you pay for your solid wood furniture is the lowest possible we do not add a one-off blanket delivery charge and therefore all of our published prices are the price you pay for collecting your purchase from one of our collection points, which may vary according to the item/s purchased.

Should you prefer to have your furniture delivered direct to your door we are happy to arrange delivery on your behalf at cost. The cost of which can vary depending upon the size weight, number of items delivered at the same time and address, however, we always seek to ensure you pay the best price to ensure the delivery service just right for you.

Lead times, the time it takes for a particular manufacture to make the item/s ordered and have them ready for collection or delivery can vary between 2 to 8 weeks, depending upon the item and stock levels at the time of ordering. 

As soon as we receive your order a member of our customer support team will contact you to arrange a collection or delivery date and time and in the case of an item from the 'Your Stamp collection, confirm the exact colour required.

Returns

The Hardwood Company guarantees every item of furniture supplied, if there is any defect or damage to any item when it arrives other than natural variation in wood grain or its natural colour or digital colour picture reproduction, we will refund its cost in full together with the cost of delivery. 

Please note: all of our solid wood furniture is individually made by one of our specialist manufactures when ordered and therefore can only be cancelled within seven days of placing the order or returned after delivery if found damaged or faulty.
